The Arthritis Foundation's annual 2010 Arthritis Walk will take place on Saturday, April 24th at 9:00 am at the West Florida Rehabilitation Institute, 8383 North Davis Highway. Teams are forming now and sponsors are being sought. Please help the 46 million people who live with one of the one hundred diseases that are included in an arthritis diagnosis. Dogs get "arfritis" too and are a welcome addition to this non-competitive 5K or one mile walk option. There is food, fellowship, fun and entertainment - a wonderful family morning for a wonderful cause. 83% of all funds raised remain in the community supporting research for a cure, the Arthritis Foundation's certified, award-winning Aquatics, Exercise, Self Help and Tai Chi Programs, in addition to providing patient and family support, public education, and three summer camps in the State of Florida designed for children with arthritis and offered at no cost to their families.
