This time it’s the newly crowned Miss Teen USA winner, Karlie Hay. Just hours after accepting her title, scandal hit the internet. Tweets from Hay’s Twitter account resurfaced from 2013 and 2014 in which she used the N-word and racial slurs multiple times.
She released a statement that said she had many personal struggles in the past and found herself “in a place that is not representative of who I am as a person. I am proud to say that I am today a better person.”
