Shawn Mendes won “best male” at the MTV European Music Awards show this weekend, taking home one of the top honors of the night. He dedicated the award to his “incredible fans worldwide” and wished his mom a happy birthday (aww). The best part of the show was a stripped-down version of the song “Mercy” from his new album “Illuminate”.
