Debbie Reynolds Dies at Age 84, One Day After Daughter Carrie Fisher’s Death
Actress Debbie Reynolds died at the age of 84 in Los Angeles on Wednesday, December 28, her son confirmed to the Associated Press.
Her son, Todd, told Variety, “She wanted to be with Carrie,” He told the AP that the stress of Carrie’s death “was too much” for her.
Another Hollywood icon lost in 2016… Debbie Reynolds was in many classic movies, including Singin’ in the Rain, and she was nominated for an Oscar for her role in 1964’s musical comedy The Unsinkable Molly Brown. Her granddaughter is Scream Queens actress Billie Lourd.
