Sharknado is back and ready to make America bait again. This time we get a history lesson on what causes sharknados. Bret Michaels, Al Roker, Gilbert Godfried, Charo… and Fabio plays the Pope! More cameos include Chris Kattan as the Prime Minister of England, Olivia Newton-John as a scientist, Tony Hawk, Margaret Cho, and the list goes on and on. The storm goes international when Sharknado 5 premieres this Sunday, August 6 at 8/7c on SYFY.
Ian Ziering makes $500,000 for each Sharknado picture. (Almost double what Gal Gadot made for Wonder Woman… that’s some serious perspective.)
SIDE NOTE: Tara Reid has launched a new Sharknado-inspired fragrance called “Shark by Tara.” She encourages wearers to “become the hunter.” The scent sells for $24.95 and is made with hints of lavender, iced mint, jasmine, amber and musk.
