This started back in 2012 and it seems to come and go. Unfortunately, it’s back and you have probably seen a few of these already in your news feed. Facebook is not planning on making your posts public (unless you change the settings on your profile) and posting any legal message as your status doesn’t effect on what Facebook – or anyone else – can and can’t do with your info.

Here’s the latest version of the hoax:
